When Erick Paradizo approached me about creating a brand for his aviation business, he wanted something that felt professional, distinctive, and connected to both his name and his passion for flight. After exploring several concepts, we landed on a mark that combines the letter "P" with a stylized wing, creating an identity that is both personal and unmistakably aviation-focused.
A key part of the design was incorporating the idea of propeller movement, something Erick was particularly drawn to. The circular form surrounding the monogram suggests the motion of a spinning propeller while framing the mark in a way that feels strong, balanced, and memorable. Paired with a bold blue and gold color palette, the final identity reflects the professionalism of a Designated Pilot Examiner while capturing the energy and spirit of aviation.
The result is a logo that feels uniquely his own, blending personal identity, aviation heritage, and modern simplicity into a mark that became the foundation of the entire brand.
